Women Sharing Hope’s Champagne Luncheon & Silent Auction @ Semiahmoo Resort
May 20 @ 11:30 am
Women Sharing Hope's Champagne Luncheon & Silent Auction @ Semiahmoo Resort | Blaine | Washington | United States

Women Sharing Hope’s 18th-annual fundraiser, a champagne luncheon and silent auction, will benefit Whatcom County efforts to aid children and homeless families.

Proceeds from the May 20 event at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine will support Skookum Kids and Family Promise. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

The silent auction includes many wonderful items donated by businesses and individuals and supports the “Come Away with Me” themed event. A drawing gives participants a chance to win two nights at the Inner Harbor Marriott in Victoria, a spa-cation at The Chrysalis Inn of Bellingham, a family entertainment package, a collection of wine or a custom golf club with an outdoor bar unit. A handbag and garden area will offer beautiful plant and flower arrangements as well as themed handbags featuring overnight bags, a weekend getaway and fitness.

Reservations for the luncheon are required and may be made at www.WomenSharingHope.com. Tickets cost $50. For more information, call 360-966-6244.

NYE Bash & Oyster Pop Up with Paellaworks @ Thousand Acre Cider House

Can you believe that 2020 is right around the corner?! Let’s celebrate the end of the 2010s in style. Knut of Paellaworks will be here to serve up delicious oysters! And because we know that this is an exhausting time of year for us all, we’ve decided to celebrate the EAST COAST ball drop! We’ll do a Cava toast at 9pm, hugs & kisses all around, and then it’ll be time to either go home and rest or go to the next bar to celebrate Central time zone’s ball drop. Sparkles, glitter, and glam attire is encouraged, but not required. No cover, just come celebrate with us!
