The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center (WDRC) is offering a Professional Mediation Training May 6–8, and 13–15, Wednesdays 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., and Thursdays and Fridays 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

This intensive 40-hr course is a powerful skill-building opportunity for professionals and community members to deepen their communication skills and learn an effective and structured process for dispute resolution, based on the interest-based mediation model.

Combining theory and practice, students will also participate in mock mediations. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate and the opportunity to apply for the WDRC Practicum Program to become a certified mediator. The Professional Mediation Training is offered bi-annually and pre-registration is required. Register early (prior to April 8) for an early bird discount.
