Save the date, and ALL ABOARD the Polar Express pajama party! Back by popular demand, Ballet Bellingham Boosters will be hosting a Parent Night Out on Saturday, Dec 8, 5pm – 9pm. A perfect opportunity to get some holiday shopping done without the prying eyes of your little ones, while the kids enjoy a fun holiday party with their friends! This event is open to the public, all are welcome!

Cost is $25 for the first child and $15 for siblings. This event is open to ages 3+ who are potty trained. Pizza and snacks will be provided. We encourage you to send your child with their own water bottle. We will be decorating cookies and making Christmas ornaments, and watching Polar Express. Kids are encouraged to wear comfy PJs!

Excellent opportunity for parents and anyone who works or cares for children! The Parent Leadership Training Institutes English and Spanish course for Whatcom Residents @ Online

Registration is Open!
The non-profit organization Washington Family Engagement offers the Parent Leadership Training Institute and The Children’s Learning Training Institute. An online, no-cost, 12 weeks-long course. It covers different topics to encourage parents or anyone in contact with children, whether through work or care, to become actively involved in their communities and schools. They will learn leadership and public speaking skills and how to understand and navigate systems. In addition, they develop a community project to benefit their schools or communities as part of their graduation requirement. These courses are the equivalent of a college quarter, and upon completion, graduates earn five elective credits for Community college.
This year the graduation will be held on Saturday, May 20th, at the Washington State Capitol.
Registration for the Spring session is open, and classes begin on February 25th. We offer a cohort for Spanish speakers living in Whatcom County for parents who feel more comfortable taking classes in this language. Classes fill very fast. Please register now!
