The 2nd Annual Hamster Ball, an evening of fine wines, beer, spirits and delicious culinary specialties, to be held at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal. Masquerade masks are included in the ticket price but feel free to bring your own masks as well!

The evening’s fantastic food and drink will be provided by Washington area wineries, breweries, restaurants and specialty merchants. You can dance the night away to the sounds of our musical guest, The Dagwoods.

Admission to the Hamster Ball is $50/person* and entitles you to all of the food and drink, evening festivities and a chance to win one of five “Wine, Beer & Chocolate Cellar” prize packages.

*Guests are asked to bring a bottle of wine, beer or chocolates with a suggested retail value $20. Your contribution will be bundled with others to create five “Wine, Beer & Chocolate Cellar” prize packages that five lucky winners will go home with!

Proceeds of the event benefit Cascade Connections, a non-profit organization that has been providing quality services to people with disabilities in Whatcom county for 35 years.

Help take a bite out of need with an evening full of engagement! We have all seen the hit show Shark Tank. Well, we are putting our own spin on it. Instead of showcasing inventors, we have our Top 10 Local Non-Profits eager to impress you with what they do. Each will have a booth and will take a few moments to explain how they need our partnership. Instead of Sharks (investors), we have Thrivent Members with unused Community Action Teams and funds that are begging for a Non-Profit to support.

Lynette Morgan from Praise 106.5 will be keeping our evening moving while you enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages, visit booths, and hear how you can change the world during this fast paced event. Thrivent Members will have the opportunity to direct Thrivent Choice Dollars, sign up your Action Teams, and choose how you want to impact others. Non-members will be able to discover how to help their favorite charity, be introduced to some of the most generous people in Whatcom County and find out how Thrivent combines Faith and Finances for doing good in our community.

2nd Annual Hamster Crawl @ Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro | Bellingham | Washington | United States

The Hamster Crawl is a walking tour of eateries, bars and breweries in downtown Bellingham. Festivities begin at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 13 at Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro. From there, Hamster Crawl participants may visit up to eight sponsoring establishments until 7:00 pm, when things wind up at The Underground.

During the Crawl, participating businesses will offer food and drink specials to individuals wearing our signature T-shirts or lanyards. We look forward to seeing you there!

Proceeds from this event will support Cascade Connections to assist people with disabilities to live and work in our community. For more information about Cascade Connections, please visit www.cascadeconnections.org.

Registration*:
$20.00 until March 31st
$25.00 from April 1st to the day of the event

*Registration includes shirt and lanyard. T-shirts while supplies last for registrations received after April 1st.

T-shirts/Hoodies/Lanyards Pick up:
T-shirts and lanyards will be available for pick up on the day of the event from 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 13th at Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro.

Cascade Connections is hosting a recruitment event in our Ferndale office on Saturday, September 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We have many full-time and part-time openings and opportunities available!

This is a drop-in event, so there is no need to make an appointment. Applicants can arrive as late as 2:00 p.m., and there will be door prizes and a recruiting bonus! This is a one-day only event.

We share a building with Express Electric.

Minimum Requirements:
• Have high school diploma or equivalent
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Pass background check, according to Washington state eligibility criteria
• Complete a driving abstract background check

You will have a chance to get to know our company and ask questions. Please bring two pieces of IDs with you and be ready to fill out the job application. There will be on-site screening and interviews.

Cascade Connections has partnered with Haggen Food & Pharmacy and KISM Radio to bring you The Third Annual Hamster Ball! The event will be held at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal on Friday, November 17, 2017 starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Hamster Ball is a fabulous wine, beer, chocolate and culinary experience that will feature area wineries, breweries and culinary specialties from local vendors and Haggen Market Street Catering. Come join your community to kick off the holiday season and support a great cause.

Proceeds of the event benefit Cascade Connections – a non-profit organization that has been providing quality services to people with disabilities in Whatcom county for over 35 years.

Admission to the Hamster Ball is $50/person and entitles you to all of the food, three drink tickets, evening festivities and a chance to win the raffle prizes. The ticket price will increase to $55/person after November 1, 2017.

Haggen Food & Pharmacy and KISM 92.9 present The Fourth Annual Hamster Ball benefitting Cascade Connections – a non-profit organization that has been providing quality services to people with disabilities in Whatcom County since 1980. The Hamster Ball is an elegant and fabulous evening featuring an exciting silent auction, live music, culinary specialties brought to you by Haggen Market Street Catering and a great selection of both wine and beer to be sampled throughout the evening. The event will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. at The Bellingham Cruise Terminal. There will be a cocktail hour from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m.

Admission to the Hamster Ball is $50/person and entitles you to all of the food, one drink ticket (with more drinks available to purchase at the event), evening festivities and a chance to win raffle prizes. The ticket price will increase to $55/person on October 10, 2018
