S L O W : A Restorative Stretching Class @ Center for Mindful Use | Bellingham | Washington | United States

Space to Rest, Relax & Repair in Body, Mind & Heart.
Guided Stretching and Relaxation for All Bodies.

Learning to relax deeply can fundamentally change our life.
Softness in the body can often lead to softness in the mind. Spending regular time in relaxed states restores us to a more natural rhythm in movement, thought, feeling and presence. In this class, we will spend time on the floor on mats making shapes with the body and breath that encourage release. Discover new ways to feel good and encourage natural healing.

Herbal tea served post-practice.

Bring Your Own Exercise/Yoga Mat and towel or blanket (for support).

Come As You Are

Guided by Jessi Rado, longtime explorer of the body, mind and heart, experienced movement guide, lover of rest as a form of meditation. Jessi also serves as a counselor and certified yoga teacher in diverse settings. Her life was greatly changed over eight years ago by discovering Restorative Yoga, a form of restful, mindful stretching. She has since aided people in discovering how relaxation can open the heart and support well-being.

Unless otherwise noted, events sponsored by the Center for Mindful Use are “Canna-friendly”, that is that our instructors neither encourage nor discourage cannabis use, but encourage guests to show up as they are. Please note, however, that the use of cannabis while on CMU property is not currently permitted as per the lease.
